Foundation Degree- Final Major Project
During my last year of my foundation degree, for my final major project I decided to make embroidered jewellery based on tropical flowers. Using felt making, free motion embroidery on dissolvable film, beading and cut work i created three necklaces and three bracelets for my collection. I was so pleased with the way they turned out and would like to do more in the future.

Feren's Art Gallery Project in Hull
In my second year of university at hull school art and design, my first project was linked in with looking at the museum of hull and east riding in Hull. I took interest in the Celtic relics and swords which they were showing in the museum. From this i created a tapestry/patchwork of modern and old day warfare, I used techniques such as hand and machine embroidery, combining this with beading, transfer imagery and batik. My work was then chosen to be exhibited in the Feren's art gallery were it was the for a month. Even thought this was a lot of hard work in the end it was all worth it.
